Clarity for College is a subscription-based college planning platform that provides tools, calculators, and resources to help families plan and prepare for college costs. Our service is operated by C4C, LLC, an Oregon limited liability company.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our service. By using Clarity for College, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use this service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

Keep your login credentials confidential. You may not share your password or allow others to access your account.

Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed annually.

Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will send you a reminder email 5 days before your subscription anniversary.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your account will be downgraded to our free tier at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that time.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or other means to extract, copy, or collect data from our platform without our express written consent.

Republish, redistribute, or share any data, content, or materials from our service without our express written consent.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.

6. Important Disclaimer

Clarity for College provides educational tools and informational resources to help with college planning. Our calculators, projections, and recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, tax, or professional admissions advice.

Our cost projections and funding calculations are based on assumptions, including estimated rates of return (such as historical S&P 500 performance), current interest rates, and other variables that may change over time. Actual results may differ significantly from projections.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
